Fixed Prosthodontics
Fixed prosthodontics is the area of prosthodontics focused on permanently attached (fixed) prostheses.
Inlays – Onlays – Overlays
Inlays, onlays and overlays are fixed prostheses made of porcelain or resin, used to reconstruct the molars and pre-molars when loss of dental substance renders the application of dental fillings unsafe, providing stability and longer lasting results. The main difference between inlays, onlays and overlays is in the size of damage and the area of the tooth being treated. Inlays cover the centre of the tooth without touching the cusps, onlays cover one or more cusps and overlays cover the whole occlusal surface of the tooth. It is a conservative form of treatment.

Crowns
Crowns are fixed reconstructive prostheses protecting teeth with significant dental substance loss. Crown placement protects and supports a damaged or denervated tooth, helping it maintain health, function and form.
Crowns can be placed on both back and front teeth. Their longevity depends on their proper application, the quality of the laboratory constructing them, and proper tooth preparation.

Dental Bridges
Dental bridges are used to replace one or more teeth missing from the patient’s dentition. They are supported by neighbouring teeth. Supporting teeth need the appropriate preparation to create space for their correct application.
