History of the Clinic
The tradition of the Mantalenakis Dental Clinic starts with the father Stylianos Mantalenakis in 1949 and continues with Konstantinos Mantalenakis son, and since 2016 the third generation with Spyros and Jason Mantalenakis.
Our philosophy is continuous improvement at all levels in order to provide our patients with the most modern treatments with the most advanced tools and equipment.
We have provided a special sterilization area with all modern machinery in accordance with international regulations for the sterilization of each tool and material used. For the disinfection of the area and the surfaces we use special antiseptics with European Community specifications.
In addition to all this, there is a special machine that disinfects the operating room in the form of a nebulizer.
Since 2020, the clinic has been equipped with sophisticated sterilization and air purification machines to prevent Covid-19.
For radiation limitation we use digital intraoral X-ray, digital panoramic X-ray, for imaging of the jaws and the TMJ and from 2020 we offer the possibility of Computed Tomography (CBCT).
Through continuous training in international centers in Osteointegrated Implants, and bone and soft tissue regeneration techniques, we have developed microinvasive techniques that reduce our patients’ postoperative problems by reducing swelling and pain.
We have incorporated in our protocol the Immediate Loading, i.e. the placement of prosthetic works 4 days after the placement of implants where conditions allow it, having as an important aid the electronic navigation in the jaws under study with the most sophisticated programs (Software).
In collaboration with the Anitua research center in Spain, we use autologous growth factors (PRGF), i.e. patient-derived factors for bone and soft tissue regeneration, reducing the use of Foreign-Also-Graft, reducing pain and swelling.
Having as a first task the elimination of Pain and Patient Fear, we have four wavelengths of LASER (CO2-Nd:YAG-Er:YAG) so that we can intervene in all tissues (bone-tooth-skin), bloodlessly and without stitches.
In all this, for complete control in the most difficult areas where special illumination and high magnification are needed to identify anatomical elements, we use a ZEISS Surgical Microscope with XENON light.
Behind and after all this is the constant love for knowledge but also the consistency and concern for the patient who trusts us.
Our dental clinic is the only center in Greece recognized by the International Institute of Biotechnology (BTI).
